In 2013 Dr Yanina Besstrashnova had the internship at the Norwegian Centre for Integrated Care and Telemedicine, University Hospital of North Norway (NST) within the Presidential Programme in Norway.
The internship included presentations of the projects by NST and Rehabilitation Clinic of the University Hospital of the Northern Norway, discussions on trends in ICT for medicine, rehabilitation and e-learning, internal seminar “Tree of Knowledge” held by Yanina Besstrashnova, meetings about cooperation and work with project reports.
It helped to promote research findings in rehabilitation of persons with disabilities and share experience in e-learning for professionals.
In October 2013 the Protocol of Intent with NST was undersigned for 2013-2015. Its purpose was to collaborate in development and implementation of ICT tools for self-management and rehabilitation of disabled people in the Northern Territories to increase quality of their lives. Both parties agreed to
- provide implementation of ICT tools for exchange of competences in rehabilitation between Norwegian and Russian specialists and disabled people,
- exchange knowledge in project management for e-learning,
- organize study visits and meetings on research issues,
- cooperate in joint and double research in ICT and telemedicine.
